Along with Brahma (the one that “creates”) and Vishnu (“the one that preservers”), Shiva is one of the most important God in Hinduism.

Shiva is the God associated with Creation and Destruction, this is, the rhythmic movement of the cosmos. Shiva is referred to as 'the good one' or the 'auspicious one‘, and “the one that destroys” but in a meaning of construction: He destroys in order to build again.

Shiva shows different manifestations. The most popular is the seated Shiva, but it can be represented in His different forms and poses. When depicted in a dancing pose, as a symbol of the act of creation, He is called Nataraja. When performing this cosmic dance, Shiva arouses energies that can shape the world.

Nataraja image is the powerful rhythmic form that represents five eternal cosmic activities:

Creation, Preservation, Destruction, Abstraction and Blessing.

His position reveals the path of liberation for every soul:

A ring of flames and light (prabha-mandala) issues from and encompasses the god. This is said to signify the vital processes of the universe and the energy of Wisdom.

(This ring symbolises the OM meaning: The ring of fire represents the nature, Nataraja inside is the spirit and both together in touch become the divinity of creation).

His dance is performed on a Lotus blossom, which symbolised the devouts’ hearts.

Nataraja is trumpling on a dwarfish evil figure. It is symbolical of life’s blindness and man’s ignorance. Conquest of this demon lies in the attainment of true wisdom. (Shiva is the only one that can keep all the souls’ ego and lower passions under control).

Two large feminine figures stroll together with fresh summer dresses, carrying a bunch of sauvage roses found in the bushes or dunes. The mediterranean breeze is perceived in her long dresses and shawls flowing. Made in classic porcelain in the usual palette of colours, with porcelain flowers. The inspiration of the scene lays in a valencian painter, Joaquín Sorolla (1863-1923) The fabric of dresses stuck to the legs and body recalls an ancient technique in sculpting invented by the greeks: the drapping clothes in a realistic way, as wet clothes.

This is a traditional classic Christmas tree devoted to a message of peace, which is carried on a banner by two cherubs. The banner states the word PAX (Latin for Peace). On the tree there are also about eight ornamental balls in bright colours, plus a heart, a gift wrapped parcel, a treetopping star… The tree is set on a wooden pot where the grains of the wood are to be seen thanks to the engraving of the porcelain.

A splendid piece with a high level of complexity and large size at once fantastic and realistic: the reindeer are sculpted as real animals, and seem to be running and jumping on the clouds. The Santa, with its hat flowing on the wind, controls the reins with strength from its seat. Remarkable is the amount of tiny fragments such as reindeer’ antlers or legs, skates of the sleigh, little toys on the trunk, and even the furry pompon for santa’s hat. Worth watching is the painting of the sides of the sleigh, where mistletoe motifs are depicted in a dark brown and green colours with dots of reds.

The obvious references to love, the family, childhood or the magic of the circus are coupled with the expressiveness of the decoration, further enhanced with the use of the reds, blues and turquoises created especially for the collection. Elements like the shoes, the original octagonal bases and even the candles for the candleholders, have been decorated specifically in the same colors. And it is this perfect balance between expression and function that makes these pieces from The Fantasy such highly prized objects which, over and above their decorative potential, awaken the fantasy of lovers of our brand. An interesting aside: the character in the series The Lover is wearing the shoes Hayón designed for Camper, which was one of the reasons why the two brands planned a joint event.

Goddes Lakshmi
This goddess Lakshmi can be described as a fair lady, seated on a full-bloomed lotus and also holding two lotus buds, which stand for beauty, purity and fertility. Her four hands represent the four ends of human life (Purusharthas). A plate with gold coins is found in front of her, suggesting that she blesses with wealth those who worship her. She is bejeweled and dressed in fine garments, wearing gold embroidered red clothes. Particular attention has been paid to the expression of the face, with a pink complexion and soft make-up to enhance the fine female features.

Esta diosa Lakshmi se puede describir como una bella dama, sentada sobre una flor de loto abierta y que a la vez sostiene dos capullos de loto, en represenatacion de la belleza, pureza y fertilidad. Sus cuatro manos representan las metas de la vida humana (Purushartas). Un plato con monedas de oro delante de ella sugiere que bendecirá con riqueza a los que la adoren. Se presenta enjoyada y vestida en finos ropajes de color rojo bordados en oro. Especial atención ha llevado conseguir la expresión facial, de piel rosada y suave maquillaje para destacar los finos rasgos femeninos.
